The LVS Technics TO-05 Automatic Twist-Off Closing Machine is a high-capacity steam vacuum capping machine for glass jars. It automatically applies metal and plastic twist-off lids and creates a reliable vacuum seal using controlled steam injection.
Designed for food manufacturers, the TO-05 combines high production capacity, flexible format handling and reliable closing quality. The machine is suitable for a wide range of glass jar sizes, lid diameters and container shapes.
With three capacity versions of up to 300 jars per minute, the TO-05 can be integrated into automatic filling and packaging lines.
How does the automatic twist-off closing machine work?
Filled glass jars enter the machine via the conveyor system. Twist-off lids can be automatically supplied by the optional Magnetic Lid Elevator.
Before closing, the jars pass through the steam chamber. Steam replaces the air in the jar headspace. The twist-off lid is then applied while the jar is securely held by independently driven side belts.
As the steam condenses after closing, a vacuum is created inside the jar. This steam vacuum closing process provides reliable sealing and is widely used for food products packed in glass jars.
The conveyor and closing belts are independently frequency-controlled, ensuring accurate synchronisation and consistent closing performance.
